This basic course in first aid will prepare you for common injuries to your companion animal. This is NOT a class leading to certification – it is geared for the “family on the street” who happens to have a pet. The information presented is part of the training program for the OHStar technical rescue teams.
No pets, please – this is a “humans only” session. A demo dog and demo cat will be provided to illustrate the techniques discussed. PetUtopia will have Red Cross manuals available for purchase.
INSTRUCTOR: Leah Pfaff, CVT, of OHStar, Oregon Humane Society Technical Animal Rescue
COST: $25.00, payable at the workshop
