Please help save Lola! A member of pdxdog has a situation here and and she desperately needs help…

Here is what she writes

I recently rescued and took in a 14-month old American Pit Bull Terrier, named Lola. Lola has had a torn CCL for 7 months and she will need TPLO surgery to get it repaired otherwise she will end up losing her leg. Lola is a very good girl, full of love and is always happy, even though she is in much pain. She tries to walk and play like other dogs, but finds it hard. Her TPLO surgery is going to cost $2,500.

Also, Lola is looking for someone to adopt her where she can live the rest of her life with her own family and lots of love. But first she needs to have surgery and I do not have all the funds her surgery will require.

Will you please find it in your heart and pocket book to help Lola get her leg fixed so she can run and play without pain?

Hello

I volunteer with Oregon Dog Rescue but wanted to join your discussion group as well. You are a wonderful organization and as you have grown, you have managed to keep a grassroots and 'all about the dogs' focus. I love that the rescues and business see us all as a team rather than competition. I hope to learn from your organization.

I have read about your group online and really admire what you do! My dog and I plan to stop by beaverton petco tomorrow to donate and learn more info about your foster program. Thanks for doing what you do!

Rufus was my last dog I fostered, he is now in his forever home and has two friends to romp and play with. It is so rewarding to get dogs out of the shelter and into good homes.
You could be a foster too...ask me how!
