My Abby is a Corgi and she has the itch to herd!
She herds me around the house and outside! haha its funny...
I am hoping to find a place to have my pup herd like she was meant to do!

I came across this video while surfing around for collies and herding (I lived in Scotland for 3 years and miss watching borders work).

The Year of the Working Sheepdog

It follows a British sheep farm, through the course of a year, focusing on the activities performed by the farm's Border Collies. A good video for anyone who wants to learn about Border Collies and see them work in the environment they were bred for, watching them work you'll appreciate why they do so well with agility and need lots of exercise.

The same site offers another video that has a preview on youtube, "Border Collie Sheepdogs, Off Duty!" that shows the dogs at play.

I don't have this one, but my wife's birthday is coming up :)

You can search these titles on Amazon, make sure you get the "zone 1" NTSC format.

sorry, no dog aggression fosters here. I have been a foster home and worked in rescue (BC, Papillon, Dalmatian, Siberian) for many many years, in fact, both my Papillons were adopted from PCAR and Ross is a rehome, but 2 of my dogs are old and 2 are small and its time to take a fostering break.

Take a look at the 'herders' we have in Oregon Dog Rescue. We were also contacted by a pdxmember who has a friend who needs to rehome a border collie due to it's dog agression so if you know of anyone willing to work with such a dog, we can put you in touch with each other.

Actually, the dog in my avatar is harley the Papillon, who would probably herd sheep if I let him. Ross is my Border Collie.
