I've tied down the 3 workshop dates, time and place:
Monday June 29 6:30-8:30 Grants & Evaluation 101
Monday July 06 6:30-8:30 Basic Bookkeeping 101
Monday July 13 6:30-8:30 PR 101
This workshop series will be held at Umpqua Bank in the Pearl District on Lovejoy. No Cost or Fee.
More detail under the Events Tab. Please RSVP so we have some idea how many people are coming.
Umpqua will send this series out to their mailing lists, PR people, Bank Postcard of Events etc., so we should get a lot of exposure and involve people beyond our own network.

I would want RSVP's for the workshop's since they take time to prepare. It was also good to know who was coming for the networking meetings so we could gauge space, etc.
Right now the social media workshop is scheduled for May 11 under the Events Tab. If you haven't signed up for that you probably should. Don't know if we will do it again in the same way.

- Well, I guess I held it at Blue Hour for a period then PCG for another. It did seem best to not continually change it and have it at a similar location on a specific day and time of the month and then whomever could make it would show. Someone just showed little early to secure the space.

- I'd be interested in both the grant writing and social media topics. While I was event chairman for CREW (commercial real estate women) I held a monthly social networking meeting after work at Portland City Grill. It was a different group each time w/ some overlap...new and old members and seemed to be a great combination. I like the once a month timing you mention for social media.
