I moved to Portland in 2004 after graduating from Veterinary School at Tufts University. While New England has always been my home, I have completely fallen in love with Oregon. I have always had dogs in my life and currently have a dog, 5 cats, 3 chickens and a turtle. Life wouldn't be the same without a house full of pets! I recently had a baby and changed from practicing holistic veterinary medicine (including acupuncture) at a clinic to doing house call acupuncture for dogs and cats one day per week. This has been a wonderful transition for both my career and family life.
introduce your pets, we love to know and see them
I have a black lab named Callum. He came from the humane society with a broken leg, but is now completely healed and loads of fun!
how did you find us?

Very well! She is 10 months now (yours too - right?) crawling and getting in to way too much trouble!
If you have some cards you should send them my way - I have a few of my housecall clients that could not travel to the new clinic who would probably love to find someone. Do you go to Washington?
Thanks Darcy!
It was great meeting you! I'm so glad your dog liked the food. We are putting an ad in the Willamette Weekly starting April 15th, so hopefully that will bring us some more business. Thanks for passing our info on to your husband.
That sounds great! I wuold love to borrow the nutrition books. I have bought a few couple canine nutrition books but maybe you have different ones. See you soon.

That works for me! I'm open to meet where ever you want. Since you have two of you to worry about getting there I'll let you decide where we meet. By the way, what is the baby's name?

I recently started a new local dog food company, Dog Bone Cafe. I have been wanting to meet some veterinarians that are interested in nutrition and get their opinions on the subject. If you ever want to meet for a cup of coffee let me know.
Hi Darcy,
This is a great website for the Portland dog community! It's a great way to meet people in our Portland world. There is also a website for professionals, nation-wide, who are in the animal community... animalwellness.ning.com

I'm in SE. Let me know what your schedule is like for meeting up. Mondays and Tuesdays are usually good days for me.
