Hello to all! We're currently looking to move in the next month or so. If anyone knows of a house in the close-in Eastside PLEASE send me a message. Def finding it hard with a Doberman. Basically I've accepted the fact that a rental service is out...
I love the last word that McHale got in ;) I really never liked that Victoria chick anyway - now I really don't! I didn't watch the show, but hey - Great job =)
So, I'm born and raised in Oregon - Eugene: GO DUCKS! As of the past three years I've been here in PDX. I've lived in the SW and the Mid-west, but the NW is home. I realized that I need mountains to maintain any sort peace in my life. Also the dogs love running the old logging roads :)
I work for an Event Co. based here in PDX where my duties fall into the PR / Sales and Marketing range. I love my job and hope to continue doing it for many many years!
I have been an avid "dog guy" for my entire life. I've been blessed with owning some fabulous dogs - Kelsey, my old Vizsla RIP you are sorely missed; Jenner, my Black Lab: Happily retired with my parents; Dux RIP, the BEST Rottweiler ever to walk the earth; Keisha, Alaskan Malamute RIP old girl; Oksanna RIP, my old Beauceron the most athletic dog I've ever owned and Kaiser, Rottweiler - stolen from me many years ago at only 4 months of age.
Introduce Your Pets
I currently own a Doberman named Nicolai or as we like to call him - Nico :) He's 7 months old and he's almost 90 lbs! Geez...
Do you have a special skill, idea, or talent to share with us?
I thought it would be a great place to meet more dog ppl!
How did you find us?
I read about it in the Tribune.
Will read and agree to be responsible and accountable for pdxdog™.com community and advertising terms of service under the Notes Tab.
Thanks for the compliments. And yes that Victoria was a total BEEOTCH!!
The only sane judge we had was the man. He deals with large breeds that are tough and understands that it was perfectly normal for my 12 month old pup to act like a puppy and not be able to heel off lead. If the could see her now, they would see that she is still just a goofy dog who is very stubborn. All she wants to do is play!
Nicolai is very handsome. I was actually going to get a doberman before I got Kenji, but I dont own a home and its hard enough finding rentals that allow pets.

Maybe we'll be able to meet sometime with our dobes!
Thanks. Yes, Carlyle is pretty big for a GSD at around 95lbs and about 2" taller than the breed standard. Sounds like Nico (very handsome) will have him beat soon, though ;-)
We keep try to keep Carlyle very active, he loves to play fetch, tug and take him on long walks, not to mention that he goes out with our fabulous dog walker Erica twice a week.
Hey David,
Working in the dog 'business' I agree dog people are the best! Especially the folks here!
When it comes to your dobie, you will be so happy as an owner. At 70lbs already, he will be a big guy! Mine is 2yrs and about 85lbs. We struggled to put the weight on him as he was badly neglected before we found him. Are you a trainer of some kind?

Hi David,
Thanks for adding us as your friends! Nico is beautiful! I have been a dobie owner my whole life... They are such a great breed. Naaki is my first gsd and now I assume I will always be a gsd owner as well! Love the big "vicious" dogs... They are always the sweetest! Glad to see you here!
