- Family Dogs New Life Shelter is a non-profit no kill dog shelter who's mission is to rescue and rehome needy dogs. We do not euthanize dogs for any reason or keep them in kennels, we allow them to run and play in packs with other dogs all day. Family Dogs was established in febuary of 2004 and has since placed almost 5000 dogs. The shelter houses between 35-45 dogs at all times that are all looking for homes of their own. If you are ready to adopt a companion visit www.familydogsnewlife.org to learn more about our shelter and to see photos of all of our wonderful dogs in need of homes.

Foster Homes needed for dogs rescued from the Missouri Dogfighting bust.
On November 16th we took in 8 Pit Bull Terrier mixes rescued from the largest dogfighting bust in US history. The 407 dogs saved from a dog fighting ring that spread across Missouri and surrounding states were fighting, breeding, bait & pet dogs, many of them not dog aggressive at all. Our 8 rescued dogs will be available for adoption after a six week foster period, in which they will live in foster homes, undergo further behavioral and medical evaluations and receive some much needed lovin’… Continue

Clyde is a great dog...we've been able to knock back his skins stuff, and we had his teeth done...he's like a puppy now! I'll drop by one day so you all can see him. He is sonderful.
