Jeff -- Thanks for that excellent recommendation. I'll definitely check Lake Grove Vet out when I've made my move. It would sure be conveniently located for me.
All the best,
Holland
Hi Holland,
I really like Lake Grove Veterinary clinic on Boones Ferry Rd., they have always been very competent and caring. I have been going there for almost 10 years, and I still take my dogs there even though I know live in Scappoose. Two of my…
Seeking recommendations for veterinarians in/around Lake Oswego. I have mostly geriatric dogs; senior canine care is my primary concern. I'll be new in the area so your suggestions will be a welcome guide.
Hey all -- Planning to bring about 20 dogs from a high-kill shelter down here in LA up to Butte Humane and a couple of rescues in Redding on August 27. Next day will drive up to OR to have a look around properties. Not too familiar with the area but…
Hi, new here. I recently subscribed to a very thoughtful, informative and often wittily off-beat daily blog written by a vet. I've learned a lot in just a few weeks and recommend giving it a look-see:
Jake was my first Golden Retriever and he died on the young side, very quickly. I know many of you have good advice and questions about many of these hard issues.
In so Cali, looking forward to moving to P-Town soon as I can.
introduce your pets, we love to know and see them
Seven motley rescues, all sizes, mostly geriatric: Lily, Buttercup, Huckleberry, Sweet Pea, Daisy, Hazel and Filbert.
You may notice the dogs are named after plants (Filbert and Hazel being nut trees) ... a tradition I started about 25 years ago, for no earthly reason.
how did you find us?

Welcome. I love your dog names. We should have stayed with a theme, but go through the hard process of picking umpteen names out of thin air and seeing which one sticks every time we get a dog. we kind of have an Australia theme as our first dog is Sydney, our second River (couldn't find any Rivers there we liked the name of), and our youngest was named Fin after a shark fin. Anyway, welcome and we hope to see you in Portland soon.
