There is a lot going on in the Blog-o-Sphere! Everyday there is more and more being written and discussed. Let's share the best with each other. We we'll call this the Blog Spot.
I am a major dog lover.....well, animals of all kinds. I love parrots also but dogs will always hold that special place in my heart and life.
Currently, I do pet-sitting (mid-day walks, potty breaks etc.) and am trying to grow that biz while trying to figure out "what i want to be when i grow up"! You would think i would know by now at my age but what i do know is that it has to relate around pets & animals in some way! I also sew pet-related products (pillows, bandanas) and do distribution, events and writing for Spot Magazine.
Introduce Your Pets
My BBFF - Jake - he turned 9 this week and is part yellow lab, part golden retriever (a glab) and the love of my life!
Then, there's Jessie - she turned 1 year old a couple weeks ago and is all yellow lab and all tom-girl.
Do you have a special skill, idea, or talent to share with us?
I joined Dogster which I love and try and keep up on posting new pics and stuff. Then, I ran across this and liked it since it is local so thought what the hey.
How did you find us?
Not sure!
Will read and agree to be responsible and accountable for pdxdog™.com community and advertising terms of service under the Notes Tab.

What beautiful dogs! They look so well behaved too. Look for the coupon in Spot Mag next month to get their photos done for the holidays. They would look awesome in the studio or stunning with all the fall colors. Cheers!
I love the term "labradorks"....that fits Jessie to a tee....Jake is too smart to ever be called a "labradork".
Good luck with the events this weekend....if ya still need help setting up let me know! I am looking forward to the concert(s) but probably won't be able to see much except the last half hour or so since i will be in the will call booth but whaddya want for free?!
Your pics are always fab and I'm so glad I finally got to see one of the "labradork".
Hey there! Ya, more time.. check! Wouldn't it be nice to have enough time to do all the things that needed done at exactly the same time?
Thanks for taking the event set up over to Jennifers, now I have to figure out how to get it from there.
Everything is a challenge. LOL
Man these pictures are the greatest, I just love labradorks! They almost make as cute of puppies as bulldogs! :)
Talk to you soon, have fun at the concerts this weekend!
Hi Susan,
I would love to pet-sit Jaeda.....i know how hard it is to leave the "babies'....maybe that's why I never really go on vacation often! What part of town are you in? I live in Vancouver so usually try and do most of the pet-sitting around there....(gas prices and all). I will be at the Spot booth at Pets in the Pearl.....probably won't bring my pups because they are a handful and would prevent me from "working"...if you can call it that! Look forward to meeting you (& Jaeda)...by the way, love that name.
Hi Jake & Jessie's mom,
If we ever do leave town and need someone to take care of our #1 perhaps we can get in touch with you. We have no plans as of yet to leve our pup and hate to even think of it but good to know that you love dogs so much and are involved in local events. Hope to see you at the Pets in the Pearl maybe around noon. If it's not too hot Jaeda will come too.
Susie
Hi Jake and Jessie's mom,
Your photos are great too! I love the one of the dog-butt pinwheel :)
I'm holding a class this Sunday evening at Pet Utopia in Beaverton and a class on Sunday, the 20th at Sellwood Dog Supply in SE Portland. Let me know if I can send you more information on either of those. After I become your friend I can send you an email about everything else, including home visits, and private, in-home classes.
Can't wait to meet your pups! Please tell them happy birthday for me! Take care and talk to you soon, Rubi
Hi Jake, Jessie, and Mom!
