After more than a decade of advising and guiding hundreds of rescue dogs and dog owners on WHY and how to crate train, I finally wrote it all down -- so, if you need a crate training guide, you can send folks here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/182517...

Profile Information

Please Tell Us About Yourself
I actually live in Yamhill County -- Carlton to be specific -- have been in Oregon 4 years now. My husband and I moved here with our three dogs; we have our own business -- not dog related -- and I'm very proud to announce that his newest book for Globe Pequot Press: Outlaw Tales of Idaho, will be released this month. Most of my free (and not so free) time is devoted to dog rescue -- I only work with Australian Cattle Dogs (heelers), and am a board member of Australian Cattle Dog Rescue, Inc., the national ACD rescue group. I have a number of foster moms scattered from Klamath Falls to Vancouver, WA and am always on the lookout for more as it seems that we are seeing more and more of this wonderful breed coming into rescue.
Introduce Your Dogs and/or Cats. What are their Names?
We have three dogs: Rose Lassen, the Devil Dog, an 8-year-old blue ACD; Yamhill Sam, my 6-year-old red male; and Shae, a 10-year-old border collie/McNab. Sam & Shae are both rescues; there are days when Rose almost becomes one!

I did also post it on my website, http://www.piedogplanet.org. If I hadn't adopted a second dog already last year, I'd love to do this myself.

Linda - you might want to post contact information like your e-mail address on your message about Dusty and the training internship.
