Hi! I am a local Portland small dog groomer (up to 40#)I work out of my home by Laurelhurst Park. I just specialize in small dogs, of all breeds, and provide full service grooming in 'Breed' clips, or 'Puppy' clips. Small dogs have it tough in this Giants World, they need special attention. I only use Organic, Gentle, Natural bathing supplies, PH balanced for Pooches. And you will not find any cages here, everyone free roams, and is free to use my couch, the Chaise Lounge, or any of several doggy beds. Lots of toys, fresh water, and treats if you approve, or bring your favorites. My grooming table and sink shower have body harnesses to wear for safety, instead of the dangerous but widely use 'noose' choke collars. I keep everything clean, and safe, and humane. I do not have any eardrum breaking Turbo Blaster dryers. Here at Steffie's House each Pup is allowed Wiggle Romp Time right after the bath, where I put down lots of towels and they can do all the scootching around they want, and I finish drying them on my lap on the couch, with a small professional quiet hand held dryer, and 'tickle' until dry. I use natural Lavender or Cedar scents to repel fleas, and dab a bit on before they go home. Each Pup also gets a cute banana and or hair bow.
* I also offer boarding at $1.00 per hour, best rate in town! Only one at a time, that way, I don't go crazy! And, like my own pups, we walk 1-2x a day. Bring your own food, toys, etc. All our dogs must get along well, or no go,, therefore, pre-board interview a must. Must have all shots.
I have over 2200 hours in dog care.

I have had pets all of my life, and have taken great care of them. Right now, I have a Llahsa Apso and a Poodle. My picture shows my Llahsa, and my dear old friend, a Maltese.

Hi,
I would say no to that. Most, if not all of my groomer friends who have tried these say they did not work. I prefer the Peticure when it comes to home use and safety.
