great tip for dog hair on furniture...
Hi All,
While being unemployed and watching yet another home improvement show I happened across a great tip for removing dog hair from upholstered furniture...
Simply dampen a shammy ($10 at freddy's) and rub off... this has worked better for me than anything I've tried in the past... including the $400 pet hair removal vacuum!
Just thought I'd share! Enjoy your hair free couches!

Dogs Helping Out in Winter Weather
I was so proud of my dogs yesterday! And it made me realize what an integral part of the family dogs are when things get rough.

Our human doctors should learn from our vets!
Last Friday night my GSD, Naaki, came down with a fever and refused to eat.... I kept a close eye on her and stressed out all night. At some point it finally dawned on me to check under her tail... yep, swollen glands! Arg, how'd I miss that??? Eight a.m. Saturday morning finally rolled around and I called our vet. Chandra Tara mean moon godess in Hindi (sp?) and Chhote Kumara mean little boy in Hindi. My sister live in India on a commune for 20 years. Chandra was found runing the streets on full moon and Chhote name @ Doberman Rescue was JR....I wanted something softer for him! I would love to get together with the kids sometime. Chhote is young happy and goofy....he likes all other dogs. Chandra doesn't like many other dogs, she tends to have a street dog attitude. If she get to know them and they become part of her pack...then they are ok, but until then I really have to watch her. She will never be the lease free park girl!
