Beach Retreat With Your Dog
When my extended family decided to do a weekend at the Oregon Coast, the major dilemma that cropped up was: how are we going to find a place to rent that will accept the 6 total dogs that are in our family?
Browsing the Internet, I found Horizon Rentals. Most of their properties are located in the Lincoln City area of Oregon Coast. After looking through their pet friendly properties, I called to make sure what I read was correct. There is only a small fee for pets. You can have 1 or you can have 6, but the fee remains only $35 total. I immediately booked a weekend for us on their very easy to use reservation tab on the website, and once we got to the house, and we had a great time. The home was easy to find, easy to get into, and was right on the beach. The only downside is that most of the homes don't have fenced yards. But to be able to take your pets, and stay for a reasonable amount was worth the inconvience of taking them out on leashes for potty breaks. (Unless your one of the lucky ones whose dogs are well behaved and don't run off while off leash.)
