Event Description

Learn how to use Twitter, Blogging, Podcasting and other social media tools to create buzz, develop better customer relationships and build your business.

Whether you’re local or international, selling services or products, shy or extroverted, Social Media can help get your company in front of people who want to buy from you. By developing a social media platform, you can increase your profits and positive word-of-mouth about your business.

About the instructor- Bridget Pilloud was recently featured in the New York Times as part of The Celebrity Twitter Eco-System.

Bridget uses social media to build her intuitive animal communication business, and as a result, Pets are Talking! is growing about 20% each month. Bridget Pilloud is NOT a social media consultant, so she won’t try to sell you anything.

It's a pot luck, so bring some food you'd like to share. Tell your friends and other business owners, lets pack the space, share some good food together and learn a lot.

Fee: $20 (cash at the door)
You have to make a solid RSVP, space is limited!!!

Special Thanks to Whitney for making the arrangements and making it happen.

Thanks for the great workshop, Bridget et al - I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. Sorry I had to leave early (had to pick up my 2 yr old from daycare) as I would have loved to chatted more with the folks there. Looking forward to getting the pdf.

I agree with Caroline. The workshop was full of relevant information, Bridget was an excellent teacher, it was a terrific group and everyone participated.

Special Thanks to DogsDigIt for being such fantastic hosts. Their classroom was perfect.

I also learned a few practical things. The pot luck idea didn't really work and we had enough chairs! Thanks to those who did bring extra chairs and some snacks. We will keep getting better each time.

It was good to see/meet new people.

Just came back from this event -- it was fantastic - lots of great information, fun to meet other small business people, an inspiring evening all round.
Thanks so much to Bridget for presenting and to Andrea/pdxdog for making it happen. Bridget - you are a really good presenter and so generous with your information. Thanks again!

Needing to juggle a view things around and hope to get it all to work so I can attend tomorrow. Thank you for the opportunity.

Deb is planning on attending tomorrow - since I haven't convinced her to join PDX dog yet, I will RSVP for her.

Bridget mentioned she does not plan on doing this workshop again, so let's fill the room and learn as much as we can from her. She is a good teacher and working hard to prepare for us.

We actually aren't going to be able to attend.
Andrea Schneider Comment by Andrea Schneider on April 22, 2009 at 6:54pm
Hi Everyone,

I'll send out an email to everyone with a few more details soon. We only have chairs for 12 people. The room can fit 25. If we each bring a folding chair or borrow one, then we can fit more people easily.

I'm all about leveraging resources any way we can and making sure more people can attend. I'm happy this is a hit.
