I'm sorry to hear about the handlers at Coffee Creek. I'm sure it goes around quicker in a tight setting like that.
See you ladies soon!

Hello-my mommy wanted me to write and ask if you could share more info about CCCF-it sounds pretty neat I guess and she raises Guide dogs so likes that kind of stuff:) Thanks..Sidney and her mom Kim.

How are all the pups doing in the prison? And the handlers? I can't wait to go back! I've been talking to people about how wonderful my experience was down there with them. What a wonderful program! Thank you for inviting me.
See you guys soon, Rubi

Hello Healey, what a wonderful thing you do. I have a couple questions for you if you don't mind. Many of my disabled customers can not afford to get a full on pre-trained service dog. Their SSI or disability insurance won't cover it. On many occasions they need a dog so badly that they go out and just get any dog. Not realizing the real training involved. Is there a program that can help them with the costs of a real "service" dog? Do you have dogs that don't stand up to the standards you offer? If so, can these people get a dog at a discount and then further their training? Like a dog that is not good with distractions outside but can retrieve things for the handicaped in their homes? Or maybe a dog that can remain calm when drug addicted children go into fits? The animals calm them faster than drugs. I have a few friends that train blind dogs and they tell me that if they don't pass everything then they are found homes, usually with the trainers. Just looking to help our most helpless. Thank you. Hi ~

I think the work you do is wonderful -- in both arenas. So many lives benefit from all you do!
