About Me: It's fun to know our members a little bit.
Behave is a Dog Behavior and Training Company in Portland Oregon. Behave was founded in 2005 by Denise Mullenix CPDT and Jessica Blake CPDT.

We offer Group Classes, Private Consultations, and In-Board train all over Portland and surrounding areas.

Behave is dedicating to bridging the communication gap between dogs and their people. Our goal is to educate people on how to have better relationships with their pets. We use rewards based training to help you achieve your training goals and enhance your relationship and communication with your dog. We work with all breeds and temperaments of dogs and have experience dealing with aggression and behavioral problems.

We believe that our education is never complete and our trainers regularly attend conferences, seminars and internships to keep up to date on training techniques and to learn different styles of training from a variety of instructors.

I love my Kurunda beds, and I can't live without my interactive food toys like Kongs, everlasting fun balls and Buster Cubes! Dave from the bark market got me into this great Shampoo and Conditioner made by High Cascade. It's made with Emu oil and it's amazing! I love the Ruff Out finishing spray.

County Animal Services

I went to my county animal control today to return a foster that I had for a few days. For those of you that don't know, I worked for years in a county animal control and it really was a huge reason that I became a professional dog trainer. County Animal Controls get a bad rap and are often overlooked as charities and adoption resourses because many people see them as "the bad kill shelters" and that mindset continues the cycle of animals going to sleep due to treatable illnesses like"kennel co… Continue

Hey back! Lisa Wisdom told me about this site and being the dog geek that I am I couldn't resist! :-)
Thank you all the same for taking on Mattie--I wish the outcome could have been different too, but it is a small comfort that she was given every opportunity possible. Thank you again.

Also, I have two more volunteers willing and eager to suit up and be "attacked"! Let me know when your next practice is!

Later!
Steph
